Day 78 - NaNoWriMo Day 17
Will you still like me if I show you my sadness?
We hide our strong emotions. We hide them so that they don't make other people uncomfortable. In our darkest moments that we most need to be acknowledged, we stuff these feelings into a box and shove them under the bed.
Just for today, while I'm sick and tired and life isn't going my way, I'll drag this out and show you. There are things in all of our lives that even in these intimate portraits we don't share. I'm hoping that the pendulum is now headed for an upward swing. I could use a few bright days.
P.S. I already feel better than when I took this photo this afternoon, but fatigue and sadness have rendered another zero word count day for nanowrimo...
