Ice Fishing Hut II
Even though you can go ice fishing for a day with a tent (which we did, including using an auger to drill a hole in the two-foot thick ice) these ice fishing huts are semi-permanent. When the ice gets thick enough, they are towed onto the ice and stay there the whole winter. While photographing, I met a man who said he had lived in his hut the whole of last winter.
Lake Winnipeg, Manitoba.
I wrote a short blog post about my trip to Manitoba to photograph these ice fishing huts.
If you'd like, take a look at the the rest of this ice fishing hut series.
