Wildlife biology
At Sandia, half a dozen biologists in the Ecology Program spend their days in the field tracking species on lands controlled by the Department of Energy, responding to animal calls in and around buildings, conducting species inventories on specific animals, and monitoring wildlife and studying vegetation. The team also educates the workforce about local and federal laws regarding wildlife and vegetation.
