Pulsed power accelerator

Sandia National Laboratories technologist Nicole Cofer inspects a target she fabricated for Sandia’s Thor pulsed-power accelerator, which has a revolutionary architecture optimized for megabar-class material physics experiments. The target is designed to hold materials that can be studied by pulsed power researchers under extreme conditions.
