1965-1972 FIAT 500F

The world famous Fiat Nuova 500 was designed by Dante Giacosa (Roma, 1905-1996). Production lasted for eighteen years.

The 500F was introduced in March 1965. Three years later the more 'luxury' 500L was added. The 'L' stands for Lusso or Luxe, but don't expect to much of this predicate, the 500 stayed very basic, specially the 500F.

 

499,5 cc 2 cylinder air-cooled boxer engine.

Performance: 18 bhp.

General production Fiat 500: July 1957-Aug. 1975.

Production Fiat 500F: March 1965-Oct. 1972.

Original old Italian reg. number (type 1951-1976, Siracusa).
