1966-1970 FIAT-Concord 1500 Coupé Vignale

Carrozzeria Alfredo Vignale was founded in 1948 in Torino. It developed and produced own designed cars but built mainly special bodies for Italian car brands like Ferrari, Lancia, Maserati and of course Fiat.

In the 1950s lots of Vignale models were designed by Giovanni Michelotti, Rodelfo Bonetto and Virginio Vairo, before they moved to other design studios or opened one for them selves (like Michelotti did in 1959).

Vignale built many cars on a Fiat 600 and Nuova 500 base.

The construction of this 2+2 Coupé model however is technically based on the Fiat 1300/1500 Typo 116/115.

5228 units built in Argentina by Fiat-Concord.

These versions are very rare in Europe.

Note the round rear lamp units. They look very similar to the ones from Simca 1000 Phase I.
