1973 CITROËN D Super 5 While Driving

The Dutch car registration office RDW speaks about a DS 21 when you fill in this license number, although the rear emblem says 'D Super 5'.

Well, the D Super 5 does have the same engine as the 1968-1972 DS 21.

The DS Phase I was introduced in Oct. 1955. Phase II with the new front followed in August 1967.

Designed by Flaminio Bertoni & ing. André Lefèbvre.

After 1969 the technically less advanced ID-series was divided in two versions: the D Spècial and the D Super like pictured here.
