The DS Phase I was introduced in Oct. 1955. Phase II with this new front followed in August 1967.
Designed by Flaminio Bertoni & ing. André Lefèbvre.
After 1969 the technically less advanced ID-series was divided in two versions: the D Spècial and the D Super like pictured here.
