XT-80-65 BMW Isetta 300 1957

BMW obtained the license from Iso Autoveicoli SpA for manufacturing the Iso Isetta. The original Italian Isetta was designed by Ermenegildo Preti in cooperation with engineer Pierluigi Raggi in 1952 and presented at the 1953 Turin Motor show.

In April 1955 BMW started to built the BMW Isetta 250 which was a copy of the Italian version. Only small details like the headlamps were different.

In October 1956 a slightly bigger modified version was presented: this BMW Isetta 300.

 

298 cc mono-cylinder air-cooled 4-tact engine.

360 kg.

Production Isetta 300: 10/1956-5/1962.
