The Alter is a typical Portugese AWD vehicle. It can carry eight passengers.
It was based on a prototype from the French Cournil company. Umm bought the building rights and started shortly after 1977 manufacturing 4WD vehicles for agricultural and utility use.
The Alter 4x4 Phase I was introduced in 1985.

Production Alter II: 1986-1996.
With old type Portugese registration number.
