1982 CITROËN 2CV6 Charleston

The 2CV was originally introduced in 1948 and designed by a team lead by André Lefèbvre and Flaminio Bertoni.

The 2CV Charleston model was launched in Oct. 1980. It was originally planned as a limited edition, but it became so popular that it was continued as a standard model since July 1981.

At first the Charleston was only available in red and black. Later also other colour combinations were for sale.

 

602cc 2 cylinder air-cooled engine.

585 kg.

Production 2CV6 Charleston: Oct. 1980-July 1990.

Total production 2CV: 1948-1990.

New French reg. number: after Oct. 2009 (Semi-historic).
