1969 FIAT 500L
The world famous Fiat Nuova 500 was designed by Dante Giacosa. Production lasted for eighteen years.
The 500L was introduced in Aug. 1968 to accompany the more sober 500F. The 'L' stands for Lusso or Luxe, but don't expect to much of this predicate, the 500 stayed very basic.
The 500L is easily recognizable by its chrome bumper bars.

Production 500L: Aug. 1968-Oct. 1972.
General production 500: July 1957-1975.
Number seen: about 35, most of them in Roma.
