Extraordinary emblem, seen on the trunk of a 1960 Peugeot 203 Berline: the claws of a lion grabbing the company sign.
Darl'mat was a pre-war Peugeot car distributor and dealer which started in 1923, named after his founder Emile Darl'mat (1892-1970). The company was famous for its 302 and 402 based coupes and cabriolets. Also their sports cars were quite successful in races during the 1930s.
After the war the company was stepping back to their main business as a Paris car dealer.
The 203 was the first new developed Peugeot car after WWII.
Produced between 1948 and 1960.
New French license number after Oct. 2009.
