1950s RENAULT 4CV Restoration Project
Bold carcass of a 4CV. The body was entirely stripped. After treatment of the metal work this restoration project is finally making progress.
Because of the star shaped wheel rims we can conclude that this 4CV is from before Autumn 1957.
The Renault 4CV project was secretly developed during WWII. The body was styled by Berthaud. In 1946 the new small Renault was presented in Paris to the audience and press.
Production 4CV: Aug. 1947-July 1961.
