Brahminy Kite

A couple of Brahminy Kites with prey. Actually I am not sure this is prey or just something scavenged from the fish market. They are known to flush shorebirds roosting on the mudflats into flight to identify the weak. They are also attracted to fires to catch any fleeing animals. They may steal from other raptors including large ones like the White-bellied Fish Eagle. They are very tolerant of humans and so we can approach pretty close.
