Little Cormorant

Seen here with wings spread open to dry after having taken a dip looking for fish. They often dive not to be seen for many seconds. They are gregarious by nature and swim with only head and neck exposed. They breed in freshwater wetlands and on coasts. Three to five eggs are laid in a nest in a tree or long grass.
