Greater Racket-Tailed Drongo

Often in older birds either one or both tails are found to be missing. They are conspicuous in the forest habitats often perching in the open attracting attention with a wide range of loud calls that include perfect imitations of many other birds. I have also heard one of them do a perfect imitation of a cat. Like other drongos, these feed mainly on insects but also feed on fruits and visit flowering trees for nectar.
