Nepal

I took a short trip to Nepal after school finished in late June. Being the start of monsoon season, most days there was cloud cover over the majestic Himalayas, and some heavy afternoon showers. Kathmandu, the capital, was quite congested with vehicles and roads eternally under construction, with a few oases of temple complexes such as Durbar Square. A short flight over to Pokhara, the starting point of many excursions into the mountains, was a much more scenic and bucolic area.
