SuperMoonOverKunming

Flying into Kunming, caught this glimpse of the May 5 supermoon. According to a Washington Post science column, a supermoon occurs when the moon is both making its closest approach to Earth and turning full. It happens about once a year.

This moon appeared up to 30 percent brighter and 14 percent bigger than the dullest moons.
