Misti Volcano in Arequipa, Peru, South America

The city center of Arequipa, Peru is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city center is composed of baroque buildings derived from white volcanic sillar stone, giving Arequipa the nickname 'Ciudad Blanca' (White City). In addition, the city is surrounded by three impressive volcanoes.

One evening I captured a magical sunset from a very narrow bridge during rush hour with the ethereal El Misti volcano rising in the background.
