Pine Spiral

I needed a visual icon for the multitude of directions one can take from standing in one spot. Typical directional traffic signage and arrows plagued my initial concepts. Until I came across this particular pine cone, the base seemed to radiate in all directions and even formed arrows, the perfect solution to my visual problem.
