In the midst of the concrete and grime grimlands between the railway lines and Bethnal Green Road, appears suddenly the incongruously green and open Weavers Fields.
And on strolling relievedly across it, the dismal pressure of the city and the hopelessness being rolled back by the blue sky and the open grass, in the middle one finds this inspirational statue leaping from the ground to the sky. People depicted striving valiantly upwards. Drama. Energy. An inspiration to all around.
