Never postpone for tomorrow what I can do today~~~
.
A few years ago I took this photo of my brother Ricky during his riding practice at a time most significant in our life. He had returned from South Africa where he had spent several years after being absent from Texas for what seemed to me an eternity...They say you can't go home again; in his case it's proven just the opposite. He came back to Texas and took to his favorite sport like duck to water; as if he had never left~
What a sight to see him back! At this very moment, he was not aware of my presence; what followed immediately has been embedded in my mind forever and my entire family who had missed him so much! The thrill of seeing my brother has lasted till today! I could almost tell, what went through his mind as I took the photo...When I look at my brother Ricky, I see my brother Richard T. smiling right back at me with a smile unique to him; only he could produce such a calming effect; (Richard T. has been gone for almost ten years now...) when I see Ricky, I also see my dad's face beaming while he enjoyed his family at a baseball family game; when I see Ricky I also see the radiant eyes of my mom; crystal clear like two drops of cool ocean water in the midst of a summer day; refreshing as nothing else!
However, one of the most appealing sights; is to watch Ricky smiling, (His back slightly leaned backwards sitting on Red; both hands holding on the saddle horn while one holds the reins of his faithful friend as he makes his way back home after a long day riding) when all chores are done; almost at the same time the sun sets over one of the hills; it's been a long day working over at the 'ol family place; yet he's waiting for a sign of approval as if his life depended on my simple nod and a thumbs up sign denoting: Well done bro! What a champ! I love my only surviving brother~

Don't feel obligated to comment at all; my satisfaction derives from sharing images relating to our way of life; our travels, our hobbies. From my family, we want to thank you for stopping by and hope you have a fantastic day! Blessings to all...Life is worth living when we do and share our best~
My music choice on this photo: Some nights...
Time for me to go out and enjoy a day with my family~~

April gave us springtime
And the promise of the flowers
And the feeling that we both shared
And the love that we called ours
We knew no time for sadness
That's a road we each had crossed
We were living a time meant for us
And even when it would rain we would laugh it off
I've got pieces of April
I keep them in a memory bouquet
I've got pieces of April
It's a morning in May
We stood on the crest of summer
Beneath an oak that blossomed green
Feeling as I did in April
Not really knowing what it means
But it must be then that you stand beside me
Now to make me feel this way
Just as I did in April
But it's a morning in May
I've got pieces of April
I keep them in a memory bouquet
I've got pieces of April
But it's a morning in May
I've got pieces of April
I keep them in a memory bouquet
I've got pieces of April
It's a morning in May
It's a morning, it's a morning in May
Just a morning, just a morning, just a morning
Morning in May, it's a morning in May
Just, just a morning, a morning in May, a morning in May
