I'll be off for a while doing some traveling out where is cooler!! LOL

There is a field my brother Ricky cultivates down in a valley surrounded by hills previously shared with many of you in the past. As I make my way down into the valley to look in on our cattle; the view in the photo is there for the enjoyment. It is early in the morning, the sun is just peeking over the hills providing a beautiful setting I never tire of♪…I’ve made the trek down into the valley below at least once every day for the past 50+ years by myself; with my dad or grandpa and see something different every time. To the left of the valley; there’s a section we’ve left natural for as long as I can remember (My brother actually wanted to begin working the soil till I told him one day: Grandpa said to never allow anyone break ground in this particular area; in fact he reprimanded dad one day in very specific language for beginning to work the soil) The wild flowers grow year round profusely changing colors according to nature’s own palette depending on the season. As I make my way down into the valley I pause for a few minutes; look up above and say “Thanks for all the undeserved bounty and beauty” completely undeserved; especially this year. Ricky’s home is just further down. up on the hill at the end of the valley. After trekking all over the world for many years; he found his home right here where he was born a few years ago; where his family has lived for generations. The more things change; the more they stay the same. Keep your dreams alive; I hear the voice of grandpa in the back of my mind almost fading now… Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe. I learned the value of hard work by working hard. I know you've heard it a thousand times before. But it's true - hard work pays off. If you want to be good, you have to practice, practice, and practice. If you don't love something, then don't do it. Hard work spotlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don't turn up at all… I always think two key ingredients when it comes to following your dreams, making ♪♪♪♪ something happen that the average person deems difficult. If you truly believe it, that's step one; step two, is, you know, the hard work that goes along with it… Talent is cheaper than table salt grandpa use to say forever and ever…Now, I know what he meant! What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.
Enjoy life; enjoy your loved ones while they’re around you…tomorrow it’s only a hope not an assurance.
