One from our family Album for sure!
It was the first time Ricky ever set foot at the family place after his over ten year absence. We were right in the middle of cutting-taggin-marking in preparation for our semi-annual trip to stockyards. We saw him drive-in, my heart was racing, I couldn’t believe my youngest brother was back! The Prodigal son returning home came to mind; a mix of sentiments-emotions was obvious in everyone…
Like duck to water; without saying a word; Ricky jumped right in knowing every step of the operation by heart! He’d done it a million times before! One can take tha_boy outta country but you can never take the country outta tha_boy!
