Sharing some family moments my parents and grandparents would love to have seen! This is for my Mom, she'd loved to be here enjoying such heartwarming moments.
A new year is just around the corner; we gather around the fire to share our favorite story or family event. I couldn’t help to think back on times spent with my parents; grandparents and extended family many years ago…the almost extinct sound of their voices sound familiar as we exchange impressions; dreams and hopes for the coming year. My mind keeps playing tricks on me while I listen to everyone around; I could swear I am back 30 years ago listening to grandpa tell everyone what it was like when his dad came to Texas. Those days-memories playback frequently; especially at this time of the year while I try to concentrate on what everyone is saying now…
Hard not to think of what’d been like to have my family here even though is literally impossible.
