ONE DAY I SHALL ... the words I said to my wife almost 25 years ago~

 

PROMISES WE MAKE TO OURSELVES

 

 

ONE DAY I SHALL ... Write a book to tell you how blessed our family it's been...

 

One day soon I shall also build upon my present friendship with everyone to continue exploring their dreams...

 

One day I shall spend all my time with my loved ones just because...

 

One day I shall Learn to never look down on anyone or be critical of others for each one has contributed so much to my life...

 

One day I promise myself to spend an entire day and an entire night just gleaming at creation wonders.

 

“One day I will find the right words to express myself, and those words will be the simple unpretentious kind.”

 

One day, You and I will meet again, When we're least expecting it, One day in some far off place, I will recognize your face, I won't say goodbye my friend, For you and I will meet again one day soon.

 

 

Promises we make to ourselves indeed...I wrote the above for my wife the first time she was diagnosed with cancer years ago; it has returned for a fourth time. We aren't giving in or giving up...her body is not the same as it was the first time; so it's been a difficult walking up the hill for us this time due to many issues/circumstances. My love-admiration for her have only increased as I see her determination to stay mobile helping those she can which is one of the most remarkable traits in her life; surprising even her specialist. My goal: To enjoy every single day/hour we are granted on this beautiful planet. There are many of you friends; facing life's difficulties' daily; my heart - thoughts & prayers are with you every day. Don't lose the faith. I learned long ago; to look at life for what it is not what I wish it was...
