Ricky's sight is truly admirable-enviable; he is such an innate cowboy (My dad use to say for as long as I can remember: Cowboy-ing its in your blood son; you either got it or you don't! If you do, everyone else will see it!! The men will envy you and the women will admire you!) Ricky 's one of those who 's got it in a grand manner...The way he holds the reins; the way he barely tips his hat; the way he caresses his horse before any work is done (Almost as if in talking in a unique language known to him and his horse...) Some days I could swear I'm looking at my dad! He takes time to make sure everyone is in position; barely commanding his lead horse with a gentle touch of his boot which direction to take...It is truly a sight to watch my brother at work...I watch his favorite horse pause; wait, raises his ears and proceeds when Ricky tell him so without a single word spoken...
What caught my attention at this time; was Ricky's easiness to move about as quickly; I realize later; he had been working with Red for some time now...probably by now, Red can read Ricky's mind or heart. Barely puling down reins; he stood raising himself just enough to look at Red directly into his eye; he understood...
