Abandoned Courtyard

An abandoned Ndebele homestead and courtyard, typical of the time of accommodation on farms in the mid 1900's when commercial type paints became available and added colour to the natural dyes used previously. Originally the courtyards were circular but square courtyards became more popular around this era!
