The youngest player in MLB history and longtime Cincinnati Reds radio announcer. Famous for his excited background cheering, talking to the ball (common ball, common ball get out of here!), getting a bit confused with right and left field, and of course his signature sign off: "This is the Old Left Hander Rounding Third and Heading for Home.... Goodnight Everybody."
If anybody has lived in Cincinnati for any amount of time then no doubt they know and love Joe. No one ever has had a bad word to say about the man. Today the world of Baseball and the city of Cincinnati has lost a legend.
