At long last Harris Teeter has completed their Farm Fresh conversions with the opening of this store, their eighth (and that's not including the two locations they bought and aren't utliziing, and still haven't been developed by another business). Once again they kept the ceiling intact so it still looks like Farm Fresh, and the décor is the same as I've seen in six of the other stores they bought. It's been fun attending these grand openings! I just wish I would've taken the time last year to visit these stores back when Farm Fresh was in the process of closing, especially this one since it still had a circa 2006 remodel reminiscent of what Hayes had. What I might do in the future is visit Farm Fresh's three still-operating locations on the Southside. One of these seems to be operating similar to how they had been under SuperValu ownership, and the other two have turned into some weird, messy, uncomfortable oriental markets (apparently with security guards who'd hate my guerilla interior photography). Two locations on the Peninsula are also still open as well (I need not revisit these), and there's even an isolated store in Richmond still operating, which has two stories! I'll think some more about checking out those four locations, maybe in the fall when it cools off and I get a little more motivated.
