The store was built on site of two older stores: one was originally a 7,500 square foot Robert Hall clothing store, which opened on September 8th, 1955 and closed in August 1976. Stores that operated out of the building afterwards are:

The other store was originally a 6,000 square foot Thom McAn shoe store, which opened in October 1960 and closed in the mid 1960s. That store later became:
