TheBrickMan
LEGO® brick Windsor Castle
With the brief to keep this model to a reasonable size, the immense size of the full estate pushed builder and designer Mitchell Kruik to find and use one of the iconic buildings as a
representation of the entire castle.
The round tower, situated between the upper and lower wards seemed the perfect choice. Once being used as a
means of defence and an Armory, now a gallery and a vault for royal files has a rather beautiful garden on the lower ward side and a well-kept lawn on the upper ward side.
Mitch managed to get most of St George's gate into the model, as well as a lot of the colourful and unique plants into the gardens below the hill.
The model took Mitch 102 hours and 23,112 LEGO® bricks to create.
