LEGO Arc De Triomphe
The Arc De Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. It honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I. Ryan built the bulk of the structure with Centuri Chan working on the sculptural details. Both big Star Wars fans, they've hidden a few Star Wars jokes in the model. At the Wonders of the World show the model sits in the centre of a round build table so visitors can build cars to recreate the famously frustrating traffic jam around the real Arc in Paris!
The model took 170 hours and uses just under 59,500 bricks.
