C41 Developing

My setup for C41. The crock pot is set on high for one hour and then turned to medium. I have found that if I leave it on high and shut off when 104 F is reached by the probe, there is too much latency and the temperature goes too high as the heating element still is hot.

I took this shot with my Graflex Super Graphic and the Polaroid 405 back. Regarding the FP-100C I now am rating it at 80 rather than 100 per my meter. More light is getting better results I think.

As I went to process, I discovered that Stabilizer is done at room temperature rather than 104. That bottle joined the 3 minute rinse water to get it to lower temperature.

I use the Weber 6492 thermometer because it will read quickly.

This shot: f/10 for 1/10 seconds @ 80 ASA.

And the two 4x5 color negatives are now drying...
