Day 216/365 - #15

Today didn't go at all as planned. The plan was to get up early, do the usual checklist for autox (tire pressure, gas, fluids etc) then take my car for a car wash since she hasn't been washed all year, then go to the autox and have tons of fun testing the new setup. Nope. Right out the gate, the battery was dead. Went into swapping the battery from the CRX to find out the posts on that are setup differently. Fail. Luckily, Juan came by and we were able to give the battery enough juice to drive to the autox. Barely made registration.

 

Once there, the car didn't want to start again so I missed staging and therefore, couldn't run. Found out I also have a bad ground. Got the battery charged up and the ground cleaned. Tomorrow I'll see how it acts and see if maybe the ground cable itself is the issue. On the way home, stopped at the spot where I shot Burkey's Si and got some pics of mine. She'll be back!
