The amalgamation.
With news now becoming public of the fleet movements throughout Go-Ahead for the Cornwall operations it has become apparent we are expecting Scania N94 Wright Eclipse Solar's from Go North East (via East Yorkshire). These buses will be an amalgamation of the two buses shown in the photo. They carry an earlier design of the Eclipse on the right, however it is designated Solar due to the chassis difference. It will also carry a less powerful variation of the L94 seen on the East Lancs Coachbuilders Esteem body to the left.
With the withdrawal of the Volvo B7RLE's we expected this to be the end of the Wrightbus and Volvo era's within Citybus however there are rumors of Volvo B7TL's coming back to Plymouth too so this might be a last break for interesting things in the City.
Luckily with the Cornwall Tender all vehicles need to be Euro 5+ so I expect this to push most of the boring stuff out of Plymouth while the Cornwall operations are built up and deliveries made. Sadly it wont last forever however it will make my summer extremely fun!
