Eclipse of the volvos
Possibly my most travelled B7RLE that Citybus operated is 100, having clocked up multiple trips to Padstow, Bude and Looe in the last 6 months alone I don't think any of the others came quite as close in the whole of 2019 as this in the last 3 months. Sadly this one seems to have been withdrawn with 104 being the final Volvo on the road.
Edit - 100 Has had another lease of life on the 12 this morning. (4th Feb 2020) Clearly the plans to withdrawn then on Sunday did not happen!
I certainly will miss these machines and I wish I made much more of an effort before they departed the fleet. Because of how new these are I never really expected them to leave so soon and even with the knowledge of their departure looming for months I still did not make that much of an effort as I was too focused on the B7TL's which I had grown much accustomed too from my childhood.
Plymouth is becoming very dull these days and I expect to be spending more time around Devon and Cornwall over the coming year focusing on the changes that will occur over this year. Sadly ADL dominate pretty much the whole pennisula but there are still interesting buses in around if you look properly.
