Ford Escape (2002-2006)

Sales of the localized Escape produced by Ford Lio Ho in Taiwan started in January 2002. The front end was completely restyled with new headlights and a new grille and bumpers and there were some modest changes to the rear end too. Ford adopted the Taiwanese headlight design for the North American market from 2004 on the Escape's luxury twin, the Mercury Mariner.
