WTN just follow ......
P1270605 - WTN White Tail Navigation, Zeke the navigator, he knowns these and another three woods better than I know the back of my own hand and certainly the camera. As the daylight hours reduce towards the Winter Solstice. Zeke's white tail and ruff occasionally are the best thing to follow as dusk arrives or in the early morning.
The navigation unit includes personalisation and produces audible tones to inform you of various dangers and impending water ahead. Currently fitted with four modes of personalisation; Dad mode includes offering alternative B class roads and wandering aimlessly around, Mum mode includes I'll try and stay on the path unless something distracts me, Son mode; I'll follow additional instructions as long as it includes stick throwing, daughter mode; she'll just have to follow me, because she has no idea and I get extended walks :)
The Rusty model has only two woods built in, but appears to be the more popular of the two, however, the return to path mode is faulty.
SOOC
DMC G1 + Tamron 28-70mm 135-45.
Freehand (heading towards dusk, poor light and shaking hands, brrr cold today)
Scavenger Challenge
4. Show us how you navigate with any map, compass, chart or GPS system.
PS the map is inside Zeke & Rusty heads, don't how it works, but it does, not sure if the stick is used a compass or divining device, but it seems to work in the dark and well as daylight.
PPS Sorry about the quality of this one, was attempting for a low light shot, but given up after three days of trying.
