Experimenting - The root of evil - Jacks back
_ABZ4583 - F stopping about, been experimenting with the f stop lately, hence the want for more light. f20 on a day with a burst of sun when this caught my eye.
Not sure if f20 is correct as I also had a 10 mm extension tube on to, so probably another -1 on EV, not to bad at 1/20 handheld for the detail, all you can do is try these things.
This is from the normal Canon EF-S15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens on the 7D, the thing about using the older manual lenses is that you can get some great light by twisting a dial and playing around till your happy,plus a hell of lot quicker than pushing buttons. So I wanted to push the lens a little bit to see if there was much difference.
