New Years Day Sunset, High Drive, Spokane, WA

New Years Day 2011, A gorgeous feast for the eyes from Father Time and Mother Earth. These images were taken on and near High Drive on the south end of Spokane's South Hill. The view is looking west and south west across Hangman Valley. I was humbled and filled with a quiet joy by the landscape of serenity. The sound of feet crunching freeze dried snow. The air itself practically crackling from the near zero (Farehneit) temperatures. And the way even the traffic sneaks by almost silently on a white carpet.
