2006 US Roadtrip

I spent about 5 months living in my 1959 VW camper bus and traveled from Seattle,WA through Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona states before returning home to Seattle in January,2007 on a 4 day trip with my Dad. We drove from Tucson where i'd been living for 3 months in the bus and working for 8 weeks with the Southwest Conservation Corps (SWCC). Our route took us through Nevada and the frigid Mohave Desert including a stop at Mohave Spaceport home to the worlds first (successful) non-governmental space travel company, Scaled Composites, a longtime fascination of my Dad and I. We then drove through San Franscisco at night, saw the hospital my Dad was born in, and crossed north over the Golden Gate Bridge. Stopped for a visit with Aunt Kristen and here fiance Joel at their Humboldt County ranch before beelining to Seatac Airport to drop Dad off and say good bye.
