Bow Lake is in the Icefield Parkway about 40 kilometers north of Lake Louise. You can watch the sunrise light up Crowfoot Mountain from the shore near the lodge. Arrived at bow lake in the early morning, found the location to setup the tripod, waiting for the sunrise… Few people around, the lodge was closed due to pandemic. I was told that the bears walking around the lodge in the dark, so quiet in the early morning, could not just focus on the camera and scenery, watching around to make sure not having eye contact with bears…😉 The view is stunning, amazed by the magnificent peaks and reflections on the lake, spending some time walking around the lake after sunrise photos, the sceneries of Canadian Rockies are out of this world.
