Dark Bush Cricket
A very common bush cricket found almost anywhere there is vegetation. Nymphs are seen April-July reaching maturity from July onwards. Adults are then seen through to November or even December. Eats both plant material and other invertebrates. Females have a strongly upwardly curved ovipositor adding up to 10mm to their body length.
