An existing FB application that maps out your connections to all your friends.
Each dot is a person and as you click on one, the lines between that person and all your mutual friends lights up. To the side it will say how many friends you have in common with this person and at the # of commonalities he has (ex. same interests). The bottom it gives a detailed list of what those same interests are.
It's not as dynamic & interactive as the elastic tag map and the immediate visuals could be somehow more enticing? More visual? Maybe it should incorporate photos of the actual people?
The problem I'm trying to articulate is: when confronted with so many dots, how do you see immediately from the big scale what it all MEANS? You can't see trends as well as I'd like.
