He started with a great clip of a 1950's newsanchor talking to Univac, and explaining it with olf metaphors... "electronic brain" "face" etc.
He says things like "ten x" instead of "ten times." if he didnlt have a visual presentation, I would not know what he was talking about.
I'm glad Technorati exists to help track the blogosphere. I guess it's good to know there is a new blog created every 2 seconds. But really - what IS the big deal with Technorati?
