TIME FOR A REST.

Welsh's hill Hawick. Scottish borders, Scotland, looking south towards Roberton, does anyone know how Welsh's hill got its name, it borders Whitehaugh hill and Heip hill, there was a castle on Heip hill at one time, love some info on this castle. French prisoners worked on this land to build a tunnel to Stirches which was a castle then a convent, I believe the tunnel was to get water to Stirches castle, in case of fire so I was told.! the tunnel is still there. quite near to where this picture was taken.
