Early 1967 – London Transport RTL569 on route 25, bound for Victoria. New RMs hitting the scene.

For once I know the location. It is Oxford Street and the bus is just leaving the Tottenham Court Road/Charing Cross Road junction, heading towards Oxford Circus. I seem to remember that in the late 1960s there was a new record shop opened, named Virgin Records. As I remember it was over a shoe shop which you walked through to go upstairs. It was situated on the North side of Oxford Street, roughly behind the bus. See more in comments by RTM Boy.

Similar to the previous bus in my “stream”. It is a Metro Cammell body RTL.

Leyland Titan. RTL569 / KGU19. With LT 1949 – 1968. Exported to Ceylon Transport Board. Withdrawn from service in 1977.
