Well... you've got to admire the audacity of the snake here! It sure had the Heron on its toes. Only a couple of frames of this action before the Heron grabbed its prize and flew off. Great Blue Heron and Red-spotted Garter Snake at Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, Washington.
